Ayurveda is an ancient system of individualized medicine which translates into the "Wisdom of Life."

Ayurveda dates back at least 5,000 years yet remains relevant to contemporary society.

Ayurveda is a system of health, based upon the five elements. ETHER~AIR~FIRE~WATER~EARTH

The five elements comprise the three doshas.  VATA~PITTA~KAPHA

The three doshas are present throughout all of nature and are the forces which drive changes over time. 

Every person has their own unique doshic blend, Prakruti, determined at conception, which helps describe lifelong tendencies, strengths and weaknesses, somewhat like DNA.

Elements and doshas fluctuate in response to age, seasonal shifts, external environments, diet, and lifestyle. These fluctuations lead up to Vikruti, which represents a person’s most current doshic dominance.

In learning about Ayurveda and your own unique configuration of the doshas,  you become empowered to take charge of your own health by choosing lifestyle practices which allow for greater wellness.

Commonly used treatments in Ayurveda include recommendations on lifestyle and proper foods, herbs, yoga, meditation, and Ayurvedic spa therapies.

The human body and its mind have the innate ability to heal when provided with the right tools.  Ayurveda helps individuals realize what the right tools are and how to properly use them for optimal healing and vital living!
